Why most Las Vegas dispensary menus look different from your receipt
Most Nevada cannabis menus — at retail dispensaries and on delivery apps — show pre-tax prices. The number you see on the menu is not the number you’ll pay.
Nevada layers two taxes on every adult-use cannabis sale in Clark County:
- 8.375% Clark County combined sales tax — the standard state-plus-local sales tax for Las Vegas
- 10% Nevada cannabis excise tax — applied to adult-use cannabis at the point of retail sale
That’s roughly 18.4% in stacked tax added to the menu price. A $40 eighth becomes ~$47.36 at the register. A $25 cart becomes ~$29.60. An $80 ounce becomes ~$94.71.
The receipt almost always surprises customers. The all-in price is almost never the price they shopped. That’s not a Las Vegas problem. That’s an industry-got-used-to-it problem.

Why we built it this way
Pre-tax pricing benefits the store, not the customer. It lets the menu read smaller, lets marketing copy use a friendlier number, and pushes the actual cost into the line item nobody reads.
All Day operates under the Las Vegas Paiute Tribe marijuana compact with the State of Nevada — a tribal-state cannabis agreement co-administered with the Nevada Cannabis Compliance Board. Tax-in pricing is a simpler relationship with the customer. It also makes it impossible to hide rolling price changes inside the tax line.
If our pricing changes, the menu number changes. You’ll never have to reconcile a $47 receipt against a $40 listing to figure out what just happened.

Are taxes really included in every listed price?
Yes. Every product on the All Day menu has the combined Nevada cannabis tax already built into the listed price. There is no additional tax line at checkout.
What is the cannabis tax rate in Las Vegas?
Adult-use cannabis sold at retail or for delivery in Clark County carries 8.375% combined Clark County sales tax plus 10% Nevada cannabis excise tax — approximately 18.375% combined. The 15% wholesale excise paid by the cultivator is upstream and does not appear on the retail receipt.
Does All Day charge a delivery fee?
No. Free delivery on every qualifying order of $50 or more. No separate delivery fee at checkout.
What payment methods do you accept?

Will the menu price ever change?
Yes — if our costs change, the menu price changes with them. But the change shows up in the menu number, not hidden inside the tax line. The price on the menu is the price you pay, every time.
